Hello colleagues,
I have a problem starting virtual license server. I installed (via Remote Desktop) licensing software with floating license using Mentor Install. At the end of installation it has some problems starting services. mgcld and lmgrd are in same directory and path for mgcld is mapped in license same as name of license server TERMINAL2012.
In LMtools performing Status Enquiry results in:
mgcld: The desired vendor daemon is down.
Check the lmgrd log file, or try lmreread.

How can it not match the hostID when they are identical? Is the server or even mgcld running? Should I try to install programs on client machines and point to server?
